Hiiiiiii.

Okay, so I'm really getting into the whole digital painting thing, and I know that there are a thousand different ways till Sunday to do the process, but I'm still eager for some help, particularly in the techniques.

Basically, I use lots of layers, and I do a lot of merging and smudging. I don't really like smudging, but whenever I try anything else it just looks ... Horrid.

I'd be really interested in hearing any ideas or methods that you may have to suggest, or even some links to some worthwhile tutorials.
